John has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and the private sector. John applies his extensive experience in risk advisory services and his deep knowledge of the industries he serves to assist clients in protecting and tailoring their business environment to mitigate risk, identify trends, increase efficiencies, and gain a competitive advantage. He has extensive experience in various industries including IT, service, health care, construction and manufacturing. John has led various internal control based projects including SSAE 18 (SOC 1) and SOC 2 readiness and examinations and various internal control evaluation and IT general control reviews.
John has been a featured speaker at the AICPA’s National Accounting & Auditing Technical Symposium and has written various articles on internal controls, including the following:
